One of the questions I frequently get asked in training is "What do all those functions do?" and while I usually explain that there's a number of key ones to know e.g. Vlookup, sumif/Sumifs etc I also say that as a user you will almost never use a whole lot of them.
However, Charley Kyd MVP has produced an extremely comprehensive spreadsheet that lists all the functions and what they do and he has kindly allowed me to make this available for you as well...
