Learn to love Excel - one cell at a time. Tutorials for beginners, tips for experienced users
|
Hello
I hope you are well and thriving. I want to begin by admitting I have been somewhat remiss in my blogging in December 2012. I'm not going to make excuses - I just didn't do enough :-)
However I've got a load of blog posts set up for 2013 - and it's my intention to help you learn to love Excel even more :-)
I'm currently writing a series on pivot tables so keep an eye out for those over the coming weeks....and as always if you have anything you would like me to do a tutorial on - please let me know...
I'm also in the process of sourcing some great Excel products for you as well (only what I'd use myself or have used) and to be offered at a number of different price points.
So will keep you posted on those...however as promised I have a gift for you and a request

A Gift for You... |
One of the questions I regularly get asked is "what do all the functions do?" And if you ever look at the list of functions - you will see there is (as they say in Ireland) a savage amount of them and to be honest, the chances are you will probably never need a lot of them but if you did....here's some help..
An Excel MVP (Most Valuable Professional - the Excel equivalent of an Academy Award nominee) Charley Kyd has put together a very comprehensive descriptive list of (and with his permission) I'm sending you the link...This gives you a description of what every function does and is an invaluable reference tool. If the link doesn't work, please let me know and I'll email it to you...

A Small Request - €10 Amazon voucher up for grabs |
My plan for The Excel Expert in 2013 is to make it an invaluable resource for you in your quest to leverage the incredible power of Excel and to become the goto person in your office/workplace for Excel. So to that end I have compiled a small survey (should take less than 10 minutes of your time).

The survey will be open until Friday January 25th. Then I will randomly select one of the entries (using an Excel function of course :-)) and award a €10 Amazon voucher. Here is the link again
